I know this post is long overdue but I really want to share my thoughts on one of the most-talked about hair product online - Mane n Tail Shampoo and Conditioner. Beauty gurus from all over love it and some even claimed that it makes their hair stronger, grow out faster and make it more volumimous. Of course, I had to try it out myself to see if it lives up to its hype.
When Laneige Snow BB Soothing Cushion first came out in 2012, my cousin, Si Ling tasked me to get it for her during my Korea trip. If you haven't already know, she's a Korean beauty fanatic and she's the one whom got me into Korean skincare and makeup products. If I didn't remember wrongly, I paid about 34,000 KRW, approx SGD 39 for a Laneige Snow BB Soothing Cushion with 1 refill.
Plus, my partner in crime, Joanne has the most flawless skin ever. I remember asking her what base makeup product she uses and her answer was, "Laneige Snow BB Soothing Cushion".

Don't we all love double digest? I used to look forward to Dad coming home from work trips because he never fail to bring back Archie's double digest for me! Its always a bonus when he gets me the double digest!

Taiwan Magazines (Mooks) spotted at Kinokuniya Ngee Ann City with beauty products!
I was in town a few days ago and I thought I would drop by Kinokuniya, Ngee Ann City to check out if the Muchacha Achachumu mook that I'm eyeing is available on our shores.
While I was there, I thought I might as well check out what other mooks are offering because sometimes Japanese and Taiwanese mooks offer really good stuffs - from bags to makeup and skincare.
Last summer, in late May, I was in Taiwan with 3 of my girlfriends, Andeline, Shin and Chuan. We were in Taipei most of the time and we travelled to Taichung too for a day trip.
I have meant to post about my Taiwan trip and of course, most importantly - beauty brands and products that I spotted in Taiwan as well as my Taiwan beauty haul for the longest time ever but somehow other commitments refrained me from doing so.
Despite it being a few months late, I still want to share this because it would give you guys some insights on what to expect in terms of beauty brands available, type of products available as well as the prices of the products in Taiwan.
This post will focus on the beauty products that I spotted in Cosmed over at Taipei Main Station. Cosmed is a drugstore in Taiwan, the equivalent of Guardian or Watsons. In fact, they have got plenty of drugstores in Taiwan, just that Cosmed and Watsons are still the more popular ones.

Gmarket Haul
I have bought from Gmarket a couple of times before but this time round was my first attempt at purchasing from a overseas seller based in Korea.
I was tempted to get it because there was this event going on over at Gmarket and Charen Snail Essence Mask Pack 15 Sheets was only going for $6.50! Even with shipping which cost $3.90, the total is only $10.40 which is very very affordable! If you do the maths, one sheet is only about $0.70 after rounding up. Plus, after trying Elicina Xtreme Facial Mask, I'm sold by what snail extract/mucus could do for my skin! What's more, it had anti-aging properties which Mommy could use it too!
