Masks Galore: Heme 24hr Hydrating Ultra-White Lift V-Mask, 24hr Hydrating Sparkling White Mask and Instant lift & Whitening Eye Mask
Suffering from dull complexion? Lack of moisture? Need an instant perk me up before that important date tonight?
Look no further, the answer to all your needs is face masks! I don't know about you girls but I love face masks. So much that I have specially put aside two drawers to contain all of them. In fact, I use a face mask on every alternate day. My favourite includes hydrating/moisturizing ones and brightening/whitening ones.
Today, I am gonna share with you girls my experience from using Heme masks, namely Heme 24hr Hydrating Ultra-White Lift V-Mask, 24hr Hydrating Sparkling White Mask and Instant lift and Whitening Eye Mask.
24hr Hydrating Ultra-White Lift V-Mask
What is it:
A unique double V cutting mask that gives skin fresh radiance and firming benefit by delivering nutrients and antioxidants which hydrates and protect while minimizing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles so your complexion is instantly brighter, fresher and younger-looking.
How to Use:
Use after cleanser. Apply mask over facial contours, positioning openings over eyes and mouth and place the loops over ears. Leave on for 10 minutes before removing mask. Gently massage remaining essence into skin.
My thoughts:
I got really excited when I first tried out this mask because unlike conventional masks, Heme 24hr Hydrating Ultra-White Lift V-Mask has got these ear loops which you could hook onto your ear for support. I like this innovation as it provides flexibility and convenience to users because they can go around the house to do other chores without worrying that the face mask would drop or something. It did felt a little tight on my ears, probably because I wasn't used to it yet. However, I believe that it should be tight so as to firm up one's face.
When I first put this mask on, I felt a little tingling sensation. But it went away after a while. Upon removing it, the mask was almost dry as I believe my face soaked up all the goodness of the serum. After using it, my skin felt tighter. It also looked firmer and brighter. As for the V-shaped face effect, I think that the result was minimal, perhaps it would be more significant after prolonged usage. But one thing for sure, this mask does make me look fairer after using it. The whitening effect lasts till the next time I cleanse my face. A downside of this mask would be that it makes my face a little dry, especially at the area below my cheeks.
I wasn't sure if my experience with the mask would be representative enough, hence I got my Mom and my Aunt to try it out as well. In case you are wondering, I have combination skin type and both my Mom and Aunt have got normal skin type.
My mom said that she felt a tingling sensation a while after she put on the mask. She noticed that her face looked firmer and felt tighter after using it. My mom also claims that it did reduce her wrinkles by a little.
Unlike my mom and I, my Aunt did not felt any tingling sensation while using the mask. She felt that her face felt tighter after using it.
I think that this mask would be great for people whom want to reduce fine lines or wrinkles. Do remember to apply moisturizer after using this mask should you experience dryness on your face after using this mask.

24hr Hydrating Sparkling White Mask
What is it:
This contoured 10-minute facial mask slips on luxuriously to bring concentrated hydrating and brightening benefits to one’s skin. It is infused with an intensive treatment that rapidly penetrates skin and helps fight dark spots, freckles and uneven skin tones.
How to Use:
Use after cleanser. Apply mask over facial contours, positioning it over openings for eyes and mouth. Leave on for 10 minutes before removing mask. Gently massage remaining essence into skin.
My thoughts:
When I first put this mask on, I felt that it was really cooling and the serum was of a thicker consistency compared to the 24hr Hydrating Ultra-White Lift V-Mask. The serum on the mask was very smooth to touch. Even though it didn't had ear loops, but it manage to stay on my face rather well. I could even read a magazine while sitting up straight.
The only downside is that the hole for the mouth area is a little bigger. Other than that, I absolutely love how moisturizing this mask is. I also like the fact that it brightens up my complexion a lot. My mom thought I applied a foundation or BB cream that was a shade too light for me when she saw me right after I used this mask. It contains so much serum that I could squeeze out almost a teaspoon of it after removing the mask. What do you girls do with the leftover serum on the face mask? For me, I always squeeze the remaining serum (if any) out on my (clean) palms and spread it all over my face. You don't want to waste any of these goodness, trust me.
Know what? I am always mistaken as not a pure Chinese due to my tanned skin which I acquired from a tender age as I swim a lot and my CCA back in Secondary School was Red Cross and we had to do footdrills and physical training under the hot scotching sun. My tanned skin didn't bug until last year when I started to prefer fair skin tone. I even remember how I would shrug it off whenever my Mom tells me how fairer girls look prettier. As I grow older, I realized that indeed fairer girls or rather girls with bright complexion look better!
I would definitely repurchase this when I run out of it which I reckon is pretty soon because I am left with only 2! Used up 3 of them on alternate days over the last week.

Instant lift & Whitening Eye Mask
What is it:
This innovative cutting of the eye mask gives one refreshed and radiant looking eyes. It is specially formulated with patented active ingredients to brighten, depuff and hydrate all skin around the eyes. It visibly improves fine lines.
How to Use:
Use it after washing your face. Unfold the eye mask and place it over and under the eye area. Leave it on for 10-15mins before removing it. Rinsing off is not necessary.
My thoughts:
When I first saw this mask, the first thing that comes to my mind was how pretty the chandelier looked on the packaging, so sophisticated! And of course, how much it reminds me of SweetestSins' banner. And guess what? Its in the shade of purple which is the color of my furniture!
This is definitely not your typical mask because its an eye mask! I have tried other eye masks before but they were more of eye pads that you place under your eye area rather than a whole mask that covers your entire eye area.
I must say that this mask adheres rather well to my eye area because it didn't fall off as I did walk around my house and do some chores while having the mask on. While the whitening effect was minimal, I liked how it makes my eye bags look less puffy. Oh did I mention how much I hate my puffy eye bags? Not to mention that they look even more puffy whenever I smile. -.- It is also very cooling which makes me feel super relaxed that I almost fell asleep while using it.
