It has been more than a month since I started working from home and here are my thoughts on it so far.
A lot of people think that working from home is a vacation but the truth is - you never really leave work. When I spoke to people around me, most of us agree that we put in even longer hours when we work from home. I liked how working from home allows me to focus on my tasks without any distractions, conference calls were made more efficient and I find myself more productive compared to when I'm in office. While the need for daily commute is eliminated when working from home, I certainly do miss socializing with my colleagues.
Coincidentally, the products that I finished using from two different brands are both from Australia. If there's another reason to love Australia apart from their coffee, wine, food and lifestyle, it has got to be their skincare!
I think it means a lot when I finish a product because I have so much skincare and makeup and I don't typically finish a particular product unless I really like it a lot. In fact, for these products above, I have repurchased it a couple of times so you get the drift.
I've always love scrubs, be it facial scrubs or body scrubs. I remember my favourite facial scrub during my high school days was St Ives Apricot Scrub. When I discovered Clarins Gentle Refiner Exfoliating Cream with microbeads, I swore by it until it got discontinued in Singapore. Then, I went on a hunt to look for a new face scrub and I picked up Fresh Sugar Face Polish in-store.
The recent coronavirus and taking care of Baby See made me wash my hands so much more often and the antiseptic hand wash have been drying out my hands so much! Even hand creams from brands that start with a L and C didn't work on me anymore. I was decluttering my vanity and I found this hand cream that I got from a Japanese drugstore.
