I can't remember when is the last time I used powder. For me, it's always either bb cream or liquid foundation and I'm good to go for work. I used to like the full base makeup routine, consisting of makeup base > foundation > loose powder to set my makeup but after I started working, I realised that if I apply powder, it makes my face look more dry and sometimes 'crack lines' appear. Plus, applying powder makes my face and my features look flat which I'm pretty sure none of you would want that. Having said that, because I'm very much of a base makeup person, I love my loose powders and pressed powders. Although sometimes they don't work the way I want them to - reduce shine but yet not make my face and features appear flat, I still like to try out different brands of loose/pressed powder to find the best one that work for me.

For those of you whom are following me on Instagram, you would have seen the photos above that I posted from Bellabox After Work Party.
It was an awesome night with fluttery false eyelashes with Shu Uemura, makeover by a Japanese make up artist (of whom I didn't managed to get his name) who taught me a lot about shading/contouring and highlight. I was also treated to an express manicure by Sally Hansen!

Hi lovelies, not sure if you have noticed but this time round, Bellabox came in a drawstring pouch instead of the usual pink box.
Without further ado, let's check out what's inside Bellabox May 2012!
