What is tsuya skin?

Japan's word for ideal skin - smoothness, porelessness, translucence, even tone, fine texture and good skin color.



How to use tsuya skin essence? 

Use after toner and before moisturizer.

As a serum: 
Use it alone to improve your tone and complexion

As an enhancer:
Use before your existing serum to enhance the efficacy of the serum especially for more targeted concerns such as deep wrinkles, dark spots etc.

Here's a swatch of Shu Uemura Tsuya Skin Youth Radiance Generator. Look how pretty its pearl finish is! It kinda reminds me of AB Swarovski crystals.

My thoughts: I don't know about you but I typically apply serum after toner and seal it in with my moisturizer so as to lock the goodness of the serum in. Likewise, for Tsuya Skin Youth Radiance Generator, I did the same too. 

Scent-wise, it has got a mild fragrance to it - not too strong, something that I can accept. Texture-wise, for it to absorb into your skin well, you will have apply a thin layer and spread it on your face evenly. You will find that its a little harder for it to absorb into your skin readily if you are too generous when applying it. I feel that my face feel smoother after application. Apart from that, I notice that my skin looks brighter the following day each time I use Tsuya Skin Youth Radiance Generator the day before.

I think that pretty sums up my thoughts on the effects of Tsuya Skin Youth Radiance Generator over a period of 7 days, I will update again about my thoughts towards it when I have tried it out for a longer period of time.  

After the presentation of Shu Uemura Tsuya Skin Youth Radiance Generator, we were treated to a skincare and makeup demonstration. 

1. Prep the skin with skincare and massage 2. Apply Tsuya skin UV under base with a sponge 3. Apply eyeshadow 

4. Define eyebrows with Shu Uemura Hard Formula (this is my favourite!) 5. Apply lipstick 6. Finished look!
