3 Ways to surprise your Mom on Mother's day during circuit breaker

Unlike previous years, this Mother's Day will be during circuit breaker period. While we are not able to bring the lady whom taught us how to play our cards right out for a nice meal, it is time for us to get creative and make it special for her!
Read on to find out how to surprise your Mom on Mother's Day at home!
1) Surprise bouquet
Flowers almost never fail to make a woman feel loved. If you have been following me, you would know how much I love flowers. Put a smile on your Mom's face this Mother's Day by gifting her a surprise bouquet from Farm Florist to let her know what am amazing woman she is!
2) Whip up a meal
I always believe that a shared meal binds people together. Furthermore, Mom will thank you for giving her that well-deserved break. Today, I'm going to share how to make my favourite Butadon. I picked this because even beginners can make it.
Butadon
(serves 2)
Ingredients:
6 slices of Shabu Shabu pork belly
1 stalk of spring onion
2 large onions
2 eggs
To marinate:
1/2 tsp bentong ginger powder (optional)
Seasoning:
2 tbsp soya sauce
2 tsp sugar
1 1/2 tbsp whisky (You can use any hard liquor you have at home)
4 tbsp water
Directions:
1) Drizzle olive and saute onions till they are soft.
2) Add pork belly slices and stir fry till its half cooked.
3) Add seasoning and mix well.
4) Beat egg and pour in egg mixture.
5) Scoop rice onto bowl, transfer cooked meat and egg onto bowl and sprinkle spring onions on top.
Tadah! Your butadon is ready to be served to the most important woman in your life.
3) Make dessert
Most women love sweets and its the perfect way to end a meal.
Let Mom know that she's the queen of your heart by making the Queen's favourite scones! Again, I picked this because its fool-proof and impossible to fail.
