Dolce & Gabbana Intense EDP review

Inspired by the richness and depth of signature eau de parfums of the past, Intense is a heady celebration of the power of scent to evoke, to incite and to command.
What is it:
Intense is a strong alchemy of refined and powerfully addictive contrasts. The heightened potency of this oriental floral ignites the senses, as unashamedly provocative notes of vaporous white flowers evoke long-forgotten memories and incite deep passion.
Subtle hints of Neroli and Green Mandarin initially, yield to the rich opulence and intriguing contrast of two noble white flowers, Orange Blossom and Tuberose. The creamy and enveloping qualities of the Orange Flower plays alongside the deep voracious trail of Tuberose. Giving an intense full-bodied feminine signature to the fragrance, that turns-heads and intrigues.
With the dry down trail comes the final surrender, the intensity and strength, the ecstasy for beauty. The warm resinous Sandal wood and the sensual musky notes that blend irresistibly with the creamy addiction of the Guivmauve, defining a powerful presence of captivating sensuality.

My thoughts:
The first thing that brought my attention to after I unwrapped the plastic wrapping of Dolce & Gabbana Pour Femme Intense was – the box.
I own a couple of perfumes and they all come in pretty boxes with either gold embossing, flower motifs or pretty illustrations but this is the first time that I have seen a perfume box with velvet finishing which reminds me very much of Victorian chokers.
Dolce & Gabbana Pour Femme Intense is very powdery or musky as how some will put it. I think that it is very feminine especially with detectable hints of vanilla and marshmallow. It is a sweet fragrance without smelling too young.
Because we all know how subjective fragrances can be, its either you like it or you hate it. Hence, apart from just me reviewing Dolce & Gabbana Intense EDP, today I have a guest reviewer, Joanne to share her thoughts on it with you.
