Thursday, September 02, 20214 ingredients are all you need to make these crisp butter cookies. Made without sugar and salt, they are the perfect snack for baby or toddler.
You can also make it a fun activity by getting your toddler to help with baking if you are okay with a little extra cleaning. You will be surprised at how much they enjoy stirring, kneading dough and using cookie cutters to cut out different shapes. Best of all, it helps to strengthen your child's hand muscles and develop fine motor skills.
Easy butter cookies for baby recipe
Ingredients:
Unsalted butter 140g (I used Flechard unsalted french butter)
Cake flour 200g
1 egg
Milk powder 50g (I used 👶🏻See's formula milk)
Directions:
1) Melt butter in microwave, let it cool.
2) Add beaten egg into melted butter.
3) Sift cake flour and milk powder into butter and egg mixture
4) Mix well
5) Refrigerate cookie dough for at least 30mins
6) Cut into desired shape
7) Refrigerate for 5 mins
8) Preheat oven to 180°C
9) Bake at 180°C for 22mins (Oven settings may differ, do check after 10mins to prevent cookies from burning)
